Standard travel insurance policies—and even some premium health plans—often have "adventure sport exclusions" that specifically name scuba diving or limit coverage to shallow depths. This is why we insist that every guest who dives with us carries dive-specific insurance. Whether you are a first-timer or a seasoned professional, having the right coverage ensures that in the unlikely event of an incident, your focus can be on recovery, not on the cost of specialized medical care.

DAN is a non-profit organization that provides a 24/7 emergency medical hotline staffed by diving medicine specialists. They manage everything from simple ear infections to complex hyperbaric chamber coordination and emergency evacuations.

When you have DAN coverage, you aren't just buying insurance; you are buying access to a global network of hyperbaric experts who understand the nuances of pressure-related injuries.

We believe that safety should never be a barrier to entry. As Vietnam’s PADI Flagship, Rainbow Divers is currently the only dive center in the country that provides FREE DAN Student Insurance for all our PADI Open Water Diver students.

his complimentary policy covers you for up to US$25,000 in medical expenses related to diving accidents during your entry-level training. It is valid for the duration of your course (up to 26 weeks) or until your final certifying dive.

Once you sign up for your course, our team will enroll you directly in the DAN database. You will receive a digital confirmation, giving you and your family total peace of mind from the moment you take your first breath in the pool.

For certified divers visiting Vietnam for a few days, we can assist you in obtaining short-term "per-day" coverage. However, for anyone diving more than once a year, we highly recommend an Annual DAN Membership. It is an affordable way to ensure you are covered at home and abroad, often including non-diving travel emergency assistance as well.
