The 10-Day Instructor Development Course (IDC)
Our IDC is an intensive but highly rewarding 10-day program held in Nha Trang.
Learning the PADI System of Education
You will master the PADI Standards and learn how to deliver effective classroom, pool, and open-water presentations.
The Instructor Examination (IE): 100% Success Rate
Following the IDC, you will participate in a two-day PADI IE conducted by independent examiners. Because of our rigorous CDC preparation, our candidates walk into the IE with the highest levels of confidence and skill.
Beyond OWSI: The MSDT Internship
We don't just stop at the Instructor level. Many of our candidates choose to stay for our Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) internship, where you’ll learn to teach five PADI Specialties. This makes you instantly more employable in the global market.

Prerequisites for enrolment into the IDC:
- PADI DM or higher
- Be a certified Emergency First Response Instructor with evidence of basic first aid training and CPR within the last 24 months
- Be 18 Years of age or more
- Have a minimum of 100 logged dives
- Show experience of Deep, Navigation + Night Diving
- Have been a certified diver for more than 6 months
- Submit a medical proving your fitness to dive
Our IDCs are usually held in Nha Trang, but with sufficient demand, we can schedule at any of our Ocean dive centres in Vietnam.
