PADI Specialty Instructor and Master Scuba Diver Trainer

Rainbow Divers teaching session Vietnam

You’ve made a major achievement. You’re a PADI Professional Diving Instructor. Now you need to consider how to get the best from yourself, your students and your career.

Like any profession, you always need some special skills to set you apart from the crowd.

The PADI Speciality Instructor training allows you to choose areas of diving in which you excel and have a huge passion for.

You’ll learn ‘tips of the trade’ for teaching from highly experienced Instructor-Trainers so that you can exude your passion to your students and get them to join you for their Speciality Courses.

As a PADI professional, you need to be able to offer students (and employers) courses which are interesting and useful, as well as making them fun.

These are perhaps the most useful and should be considered first:

  • Deep
  • Navigation
  • Nitrox
  • Night
  • Self Reliant
  • Equipment
  • Digital Underwater Photography

Additional ratings, which are often overlooked include:

  • Fish ID
  • Search & Recovery
  • Naturalist
  • And many more!

Remember, obtaining a minimum of 5 Specialty Instructor ratings and certifying 25 students (at any level) allow you to apply for your Master Scuba Diver Trainer certification!

We can offer 6-12 week MSDT + IDC Staff internships which will include teaching opportunities to achieve your 25 certs!
