Here is a question that’s often put to Vietnam’s most senior PADI Course Director: Jeremy Stein.
What makes the PADI Instructor Development Courses (IDCs) with you, and Rainbow Divers so special?
Unlike other Instructor Trainers, we are not primarily financially focused, nor solely focused on keeping a 100% pass ratio. We have a vested interest in producing top quality Instructors for the Dive Industry, and do in fact, offer all new Instructors we train an employment position with us.
We are not ‘churning and burning’. We extend our IDCs beyond the PADI course program and include many proven teaching methods/materials, some of which have been deleted in the new curriculum but we feel still add huge value.
Of course we teach all the new standards, but there are outstanding ‘old-school’ values and methods which we also include to benefit our Candidates.
This really isn’t a course where you just tick the boxes and get the Candidates to pass; it’s about preparing them to conduct themselves as a confident and competent PADI Instructor in the ‘real world’.
The next IDC in Vietnam is 10th June and then in September.
