Diving and Snorkelling Whale Island
RAINBOW DIVERS opened this PADI 5 Star Gold Palm IDC Centre at the beginning of 2002. However, the Island has been associated with Scuba Diving for many years. For example, did you know that it was here on Whale Island that Jacques Cousteau first discovered his passion for diving?
The resort is located 80 kms North of Nha Trang at the tip of an archipelago. It is absolute paradise – your own ‘desert island’ where you can really get away from it all!
The bamboo bungalows right on the beachfront are complete with shower & wc, and offer accommodation for up to 60 guests. Meals are served 3 times a day and are a delicious combination of traditional Vietnamese cuisine with a strong French influence. |

A Day of Diving at Whale Island
|

Enjoy an Ocean view breakfast in the resort restaurant at 7am. Take a stroll down the beach at 7.30am to try on your fins and wetsuits before departing on our dive boat.

Take a leisurely cruise through the channel to your first dive site. You will be briefed and orientated on the boat and dive profile/conditions. 30 minutes to the main channel sites and around 60/90minutes to the offshore Islands.

| 3 |
During your surface interval we will change your tanks while you rest and refresh and catch some sun. Move the boat to the next best dive location. Your PADI Instructor or Dive guide will brief you on your next dive and help with your equipment.

Enjoy a relaxing journey back to Whale Island resort while the crew take care of your gear. Grab some photos and go through the Fish I.D books with your staff.
|
| 5 |
You will be returned to the resort in time for a fresh lunch. Your Instructors will organise your logbook stamping and certifications.
|
| 6 |
Why not arrange with your Instructor for an afternoon or night dive from the beach? There’s plenty to see; we’re even creating our own wreck!
