Those halcyon days passed with the widening spotlight of tourism. The travellers footprint has grown and forced a sea change to Nha Trang’s infrastructure and skyline. However, philosophical architecture is much harder wearing. Many of the “old school’ entrepreneurs and ex-pats wanted the principals of The Rainbow to endure.
Rainbow divers (sharing the very same name) moved it back a block from the beach and set up a new home. Incorporating Viet Nam’s biggest diving brand name and equipment displays the Rainbow Bar is now a home from home. With local beers, cocktails and Imported classics: “All hail the Guinness”! And of course a full range of fresh shakes and juices.
Comfort food from colder shores are in abundance: Meat pies, chips and Gravy (Oooo…Gravy!), hearty Pizzas, robust Beef burgers, pasta and not least the mighty English fry up – with English bangers no less.
If that’s not enticing enough add: HIENZ baked beans, Marmite, and Branston Pickle to the mix and you're fully implanted into an Asimovian Tropical England utopia….

"Had a really good time at Rainbow Divers in Nha Trang, having the Open Water Course. Even though the visibility wasn't that good, it was fun learning to dive!
