VIETNAM DIVING UPDATE
PHU QUOC: High season here with full diveboats traveling alternate days to explore the Northern sites and then the Southern Islands. Early start, 2 dives, lunch and back on land mid afternoon. Viz around 10m, water at 29c and the weather hot, hot, hot! Enquiries
NHA TRANG: Slowly emerged from the ‘Rainy Season’. Offering diving and PADI training courses daily. Conditions not perfect, but 10-14m viz does allow you to see the macro critters that Vietnam is famous for! Enquiries to
WHALE ISLAND: This little piece of paradise is just north of Nha Trang, thus the same diving conditions apply. HOI AN: A little early in the season for diving here, but in a month or so, the dive conditions will offer excellent diving + training. Enquiries to
SAIGON: The best way to get dive certified is to start on-line with PADI and then spend one day in the pool in An Phu with your Instructor. Then you choose when to travel to one of the Ocean centres for 2-3 days to complete your course. Diving programmes also available through the top International Schools.
